Summer
Since moving to middle TN I’ve realized how accustomed to Florida weather I became. I soooo miss the Florida sunshine! Alas, reasons I can’t wait for summer in Tennessee:
1. Boating on lakes! I love boating in FL just as much, but freshwater lakes and breathtaking cliffs are just awesome.
2. The side patio and back deck of our new house! I’ve been mentally designing these two...
funk.
Feeling in a little bit of a funk becuase of work yesterday. But looking forward to better things today.
Engagement photo shoots and the resulting imgs. make me want to barf my brains out.

I’m really hoping the sequin shirt I have in mind for tonight will look cute! If there was ever a time for sequins— it’s New Years Eve.
Goodbye '09
Reasons 2009 was a great year:
1. We rung in the new year in NYC at the My Morning Jacket show with some of my very best friends!
2. A little bundle of joy came into our lives— Rufus.
3. We moved to Music City, USA and have been loving it ever since!
4. I freelanced at a kind of boring place, but made some great friends.
5. I worked on a freelance project that led to a dream job!

A few months ago Barry dragged me to the Handsome Furs show on a Tuesday (or some random weeknight)
However, for the first time in a LONG time I truly wanted an oncore! And now— cannot. stop. listening.

Goals
TO DO before I die:
Write a book- get it published. (I better do this soon, what is happening to the publishing industry!??)
Have a piece of work in the permanent collection of a major art museum. ie. MOMA, Art Institute of Chicago.
Learn a new language.
In a year:
Have one of my designs in a major print publication.

Southern Dress
Gotta go shopping tonight for a dress to wear to the Ole Miss game in Oxford this weekend. Who wears silk satin to a football game??! Southerners. That’s who.
